That was what I was thinking. my only worry is the new 31'' tires I have may look too small.

Nothing has happened lately but I have had a few dreams about breaking down..... The truck does make a weird sound when it first starts in the cold almost like a rattle. Maybe the power steering pump or the air pump.

Well I'm waiting on the E fuel from Mark Fugazzotto I was thinking on how the E fuel does not have a heating unit in it. Just how does that change thing in cold months? I don't even know if mine works.

Most remove the bowl heater as it will short out someday and take out the PCM fuse.

Once engine is warm, the heads heat the fuel.

Fallon may be a little colder in the winter than here in Reno but my truck fires right up in the winter with efuel. No fuel or block heaters, just the glowplugs.

I wait 20 seconds and it fires up

are you sure your glow plugs are working?

how old are injectors? if armature clearance is too tight then it retards ignition and makes it tough to start

I am not 100% sure but I replaced all of them.
I don't know the age of the injectors and don't know what the armature is.

Fuel heater has nothing to do with starting on the stock fuel system. The heater is in the bowl, and you'd have to do a lot of cranking before the warmed fuel would get to an injector...

I live where the winters are darn cold... no fuel heater... no problems.
