E4OD fluids??

E4OD fluids??
I know this may have been answered somewhere else,but how much fluid is supposed to be in an E4OD trannie.I just had the fluid and filter changed and the guy used 7 quarts of "Transflo" what ever that is.I thought I read some where a complete change should be more like 18-20.

More like 16. There's a couple of quarts holdup in your converter which he very likely did not empty. What does your dipstick read "warm and in drive" if it says full you're OK; if it says add, then add

Hey, that's family for ya!He's my Borther-in-law too.I always pay him before I pick up my car or truck too.Anybody want to guess how long before I take another vehicle to him?
