Factory Tachometer Help

Well I've decided that I'm gonna put EFI on my 302 in my 85 bronco, and I'm gonna be using the setup from a 89 mustang gt, and I was wondering if anyone knows how to, or has run the factory tachometer with that set up. Lmk thanks Chris

Your tach hooks up under the hood out at the ignition module wiring. It hooks to the negative of the coil eventually. The mustang tach hooked up the same, so it's wiring should have a spot for it.

Pages 18 & 19, here: Start, Ignition, & Carb Circuits - ???Gary's Garagemahal. Pay attention to the black wire with light green dots that goes from the distributor to the tach and is marked "8 cyl only". It is a ground that tells the tach to read in 8 cylinder mode. If the ground isn't present it'll read in 6 cylinder mode.
