My drivers side door lock will not unlock with the switch or fob. Since it will lock the wiring and actuator are functioning ok. I suspect the RKE Module behind the drivers seat on the wall of the cargo area. I removed it and checked all the pin and solder joints, still won't work. It has no part numbers on it so I can't find a replacement. Anyone else had this problem?
I have been searching the internet for wiring diagram's/pinouts of the RKE module for trouble shooting with no luck. I cannot even find where to get a replacement module! Maybe better luck tomorrow.
Visited one local Ford dealer today. Good news is I have a part number F7UZ-15K602-AA, bad new is they are discontinued and no one in the US dealer network has one. If I could find a schematic I could try and repair it or maybe retro fit a later model unit by rewiring the connectors? Still searching for information at this time.
That looks like it's going to be a tough part to find. If you're in a hurry, I'd start by looking for a used one at recycling yards. Or, wait until one is listed on eBay, if you're not in a hurry.

Door lock has been out of service for a while, other problems have been on the front burner. I will try and find a salvaged unit but that may take some time. Hard to believe that a newer unit cannot be modified to work, just need someone dedicated enough to figure it out. The RKE module in my van was only used in 97-99 E series.
If I could find a wiring diagram or the pin outs to the module it could be possible to fix this. There are 6 relays on the board and only 4 locking mechanisms. I presume 2 are spares for other applications. If I could identify the bad one I could swap it with a spare. Hoping someone has this info for me.
I'm searching the internet for a module. I've set up an EBay search and report, what else can I do?
I know this post is old, but I think I'm looking for the same module for my 1997 Econoline Powerstroke. Mine didn't come stock with remote keyless entry, but it has a harness in the correct location that has a tag that starts with F7UZ. Everything points to F7UZ-15K602-AA being the part number I need. Just seeing if you ever found a source for this receiver.
One thing to try, mine (2006) stopped working as well. I unplugged it and left it overnight (just by chance) and it seemed to reset itself and has worked fine ever since. Either it did some type of reset or the plug contacts were not seated properly.
Thanks for the reset tip. I disconnected the neg battery cable, had a beer and dinner. About 2 hrs later, I reconnected the battery and it had reset the RKE.
My fobs and door key pad stopped working one day for no reason.
2006 e350
My RKE module is behind the front passenger kick panel.
If your van is anything like mine....
I've been into the RKE on my '98 E 150 several times and I suspect like other modules on board they've overtaxed the wiring and or there ground issues.
Same issue here I have a new to me 1999 E150 conversion Van with F7UF-15k602-AA key fob does not work and the door lock button does not either. When I do press the unlock button on the door or key fob, I hear a slight clicking noise in the RKE module F7UF-15k602-AA.
Since they are hard to find, I can only think if it is possible to rewire another Ford RKE module from the same year.
These modules simply wear out over time which is understandable given the number of duty cycles and rather harsh environment they endure. The modules are also terrifically cheaply built so its a bonus of sorts if they last 10 years.
Rewiring the chassis to accommodate another year in theory isn't too complicated but it does require an EVTM's from the years of the van's that would be used. Should the transplanted RKE module fail again you're back to step one.
If the RKE function is a must have look for a high quality "car alarm" that will have remote control of the PDL's and save yourself a ton of potentially disappointing work and aggravation. I've BTDT and would never consider rewiring the chassis wiring.
