My 1999 F-350 work truck needs new headlights and wanted some ideas or info on doing some new ones.
I really like the 05/07 HD edition headlights, but i do not want to cut anything a little bit of cutting would be fine along as i dont loose mounting holes i guess. Does anyone or ebay ones make ones specifically for the 99-04 area?
You have to cut the header panel behind the headlight to use the 05 lights. It's not a big deal header panel is fiberglass a dremel makes pretty quick work of it. The mounting holes are already there. Not sure what mounting holes your worried about losing. You could also use the 02-04 head lights with the clear lenes. Here is a write up on how to do the 05 to 07 lights you can look through it and decide if you want to do it or not. ?99-?04 Superduty To ?05 Headlight Conversion - Ford Diesel Performance Parts Blog
I had to replace the multi function stalk/switch on my 2011 F350 last year. The ww fluid button on it was slowly dieing, and my wipers started coming on randomly. The switch is basically just a plug in computer board; two small screws held it in. Easy to change out; fixed all my problems.

I think ill just pull the plug and go for it, Thanks!
Yea they use h13's. With the leds the low beam is good the high beam is useless. At least with the lifetime LEDs that I have. What I would really like to do is have projectors retrofitted for hids the are a few threads on here and they are really impressive. Great highs and lows and razor sharp cutoff. I think you should try the lights with a decent set of halagon bulbs first and see what you think. It will be a huge improvement from your stock lights those are the worst lights output wise you can have on a super duty. If I could find a decent quality halagon bulb that was 5000k color temp I would switch back.

My other cars have HID Kits, so im pretty used to not having High Beams. But i could always add a LED Light bar, then wire it to be used as high beams if needed. The truck doesn't get driven a lot at night so im not super worried.
