Overdrive wont turn OFF

I bought a 2001 7.3L, LB, crew cab, auto trans. When i first bought the truck, 3 months ago, i checked the overdrive and it worked fine (It turned off). last week i went to turn it off and it didnt work. The "OFF" light didnt work and the tranny wouldnt shift down.
Is there an inline fuse or something that may have blown? The only thing that changed was the CPS (Cam Position Sensor) went out 1 month after i bought it. Could that have done something?
I dont even know where to start checking this thing.

I had that happen on my 99. Ford replaced the switch

You can take the switch out and test it. It comes out by removing the little end on the shift lever and sliding it out...At least on my 99.

I have that happen a few times on my '00. I pull on it a little and push it back in (hmm, what the hell am I talking about) and it seems to work. I'll be taking my rig in for a few warranty items in a few weeks and this is on the list.
