95 f250 7.3 largest tires on stock suspension

I'm looking at buying this 95 f250 4x4 7.3 for 1500. I'm wondering what the largest tires are that will fit even if I have to do a bit of trimming and bumper spacing? Could 315 75 16s fit or would those require at least a level?

the stock bumper is the limiting factor for the most part, and probably those running boards on that particular truck.

33's should fit no problem, 35's if you have a winch or custum bumper that doesn't follow the contour of the fender. I run 37's with a 2-3" lift and a winch bumper with plenty of room to go a couple inches bigger.

37s with basically just a level? Damn I'd like to see that. I don't have an issue with cutting the bumper if needed or part of the running board to fit 35s if I do get the truck

285s(33") CAN fit with no trimming on certain trucks, other trucks require trimming and or spacing the front bumper

315s(35") and going to require quite a bit of trimming

Yeah I figured I'd have to trim to fit 35s. I like to play in mud so I'd prefer to run 35s if I get it

Misewell get a lift for it, I'm sure the 7.3 has put a whoopin on those stock springs over the years and miles. I'm not a can of trimming.

I moved my axle forward 1.5" and my bumper doesn't return back to the fenders, so that's how I get away with 37s. Fwiw, 35s fit on a healthy sprung stock f350 with no trimming, so the possibility is certainly there with a 250 and a leveling kit at the very least.

I have run 37 Humvee tires with a custom bumper. It sits out about 10 inches from the stock location.

Best shot of the bumper. I still had 8-9 inches to the wheel with the 37s.

285s are a good fit on my 250 with no lift but it has gas motor so springs probably are as worn as a diesel would be!

I'd like about 10 of those.

The 285s look like a great size on it. But I like making things fit where they shouldn't be able to ( example is my explorer and through a walking trail bridge )

33 Shouldn't Look Bad...

33's shouldn't be bad. The good thing about four words they're not like Chevys are dodges you can generally put some pretty big tires on them most of the time you don't have to level or lift the vehicle. However with how low that truck is I would actually remove the running boards give it a more Fighting Chance at that stance and it may just be enough room to where you wouldn't have to lift the vehicle if you ever wanted too.

The bad thing about 35s and mud, is the lack of power to spin them and clean them out. Good luck

That sounds like a story you need to tell!
