Which I6 is this

I bought a 1960 Ford F100 with an I6. I have been told that it isn't a 223. But I can not confirm if it is or not. I notice from other peoples photos that the casting around the freeze plus seems beefed up. The water pump appears larger also and there is a tag attached to the coil bracket. Any thoughts.
Thanks

I'm guessing a 240, but not sure.

A picture of the passenger side would be more helpful, it could be a 223 or 262..

240/300 would have the intake and exhaust on the opposite side.

You have a 223. The casting number on the block in the first picture says it's a 1963 casting.

Well, it's not the first time I've showed my ignorance.

A = 223 used in cars & trucks. 262 block casting number prefix would have a T as the 3rd digit, since it was a truck engine only.
