Was there a bumper unique to XLTs? I have some crappyish LMC bumper now. I would like to go back to the original. I don't know if rear bumpers were unique to models or not. Is this what I should be looking for?

^ Both of the above (edit: and the 3rd pic you added after the fact) are aftermarket step bumpers. ^
Rear bumpers were optional for all models. There were two Styleside 'genuine Ford types' chrome or painted contour bumper or chrome or painted step bumper (see upper parts catalog pic).
The only bumper unique to Ranger XLT's was the front, because it came with horizontal bumper pads.
Trucks were built to tow and work so dealers usually had a rack of different rear step bumpers to choose from... sources/manufacturers varied widely. My 71 F250 has the version in the second picture.
Some bought pickups as a "gentleman's vehicle" and usually opted for the contour bumper which mimics the front bumper... that's why they are less common than the pictured step bumpers.
Rear bumpers were more or less still optional until the late 80/early 90s.
