I spent a few hours cleaning and polishing my chrome rims and side step yesterday morning. Left for the day using another car. When I got back my neighbor across the street comes over and tells me a big tom turkey had issues with your rims. We have wild turkeys all over here. He would get close to a rim, spread out his feathers and start pecking away. Back off and then do it again. Took a couple of shots at my steps too. Not a huge fan of black rims but might rethink them.

You're thinking about changing wheels because of a turkey? Kill it and be done with it.
Ya, turkeys have serious issues about seeing their reflection. If this is a recurring thing then you should probably quietly put an end to it before the bird ruins your paint.
How far away is turkey season in your neck of the woods? I'd drive to the nearest field in your truck and wait for it to show up!
I don't have to drive anywhere. I have on average 15 to 20 that live on my property year after year. I'm guessing the same family line. I don't know a lot about of them. Most of backyard is several acres of woods then I have 7 acres of horse pasture up to the house. All that and they like my front yard which I don't mind. This is the first time though this has happen that I know of. Happens again and the party's over.
