Engine Purr when shutting down
My 302 makes this nice Purr, hissing sound like a vacuum or suction. Only when I shut the engine off, its the last thing you hear.
My wife really likes it.
Should I be worried or this is normal?

The sound is very prominent on the outside. Not really on the inside.
Its like a pressure release. The truck runs fine. When for a complete checkup when sent it in. Nothing then.
But its kind of a cool sound, only when you shut it off. Its right at the end. Like something is being released. Its louder when the hood is open.
I had some friends check under the hood to try to find out where its coming from. But couldn't really figure it our.
Any one else, have this on their 1994 f-150 5.0L 302 v8

There is a valve on the pass side near the EGR. Not sure what it is, can't remember. My truck releases the vacuum through this valve at shutdown as well. When I get it back together and running again I'll check to see what this valve is and see if it is normal or not.
