I got a full set from Precision Rubber, seems to be good quality and the fit was perfect.

There has been some talk about using 80's-90's type door seals here lately. I put the original ones on and they were a pain. If I had to do it again I'd try some newer push on style. Just something to look into.

How were they to put on not bad or a pain

I've used the seals from Bronco Graveyard and Dennis Carpenter. Bronco Graveyard also carries the DC seals.

Easy job to replace. But use the good adhesive -3m yellow weatherstrip adhesive. Run a small bead and let it tack up. Have plenty of blue painters tape ready to hold the seal in place until it stays on its own.

For prep, I sanded down the area a bit, and wiped with a rag damp with gasoline. Yeah, I know that's bad. Helps if you have a step stool for the top. A helper wouldn't hurt, either, although I did mine solo

After you install the new seals, it'll be real hard to close the doors for a while. You may need to adjust the striker bolt

I replaced my anti rattle strips (both sides)/division bar and the one piece long one for the back and underside top...with the glass still installed.

But did you do it with the window closed?!?!?

I've done that, too. I don't know what's harder-doing it with the glass in, or re-installing the glass after changing all the stuff. Toss-up either way

YES is was up and I am one BMF...lol No the window was down, and I removed the one bolt at the bottom of the division bar. That seemed to give me plenty of wiggle around room to get the seals in place.

I was the one that did the write up on those mystery seals I found at the yard. Get new seals for a 95 or below. They wont be the correct stylle that are just foam. Theyu have the metal inside and they will need to be shortened a bit and the edges on the bottom splayed open and pounded flat. did that with a hammer on the driveway. They seal like no other. You can try it on a junk yard pair to see if you like before ordering new ones. Mine are still on from the yard after 2 years and they are still water tight and no door rattle. There is a write up somewhere here or on Ford truck fantatics site.

My dad and I installed all new door/window seals from LMC about a year and a half ago and it was a huge waste of money. Air and water leaks in worse than before, the window channels are already cracking and falling apart. The vent windows whistle and leak air and water. The windows don't set snug in the felt channels. All of the materials were of cheap quality and didn't fit worth a darn. On and on and on...should've left it alone, hahaha!

I hate to trash LMC because they've done a lot for the classic car aftermarket, but I would absolutely NEVER recommend buying weather stripping from them.

I pulled the window in mine so I could prep (clean) the inside of the door and shoot it with a coat of enamel to help prevent rust--and ensure the raamat sound deadener foil had something to stick to.

I used MacsAuto Parts seals 2 years ago and are happy with them.
I used LMC seals on trucks at work 1 year ago and will NOT buy LMC seals again.
