Good morning everyone!

Our experience with the loaner van makes me think of Randy's thoughts a few months ago. It rides and handles similar to a regular van when empty, but load in Hannah and two other adults and we are over GVWR. At this point the ride is terrible, it shakes, rattles, and rolls down the freeway, almost as if we're riding on or very slightly above the bump stops. It doesn't look like it because of the suspension mods, but it certainly doesn't ride well when loaded up, and I can't imagine that's good for the suspension.

We miss the power doors and car-like ride of the minivan, but we're very glad we picked the full-size option at this point.

Got the bug shield installed on the Rubicon yesterday... While it doesn't look as hideous as I thought it would - Hopefully the bug fatality rate will decrease in our wake....

Morning everybody. This last week has been nuts, I was filling in for our service manager. Got home early this morning from a tubing trip and have the sun burn to prove it!

Ouch.... Seems like I always burn whenever I'm near water... That SPF stuff either washes off or doesn't work for me very well..
A friend did tell me about something that actually works pretty well on sunburn to at least help you sleep.. Believe it or not, Preparation-H ointment...
Think about it - it's meant to go on some pretty tender places and relieve burning etc. I was reluctant, but after going almost two days with little sleep, I was willing to try anything...

Good luck!

Good evening everyone.

Had to run Hannah to the hospital for a blood test this morning, then went boating in the afternoon. She has a big surgery tomorrow, so we'll be at Children's most of the week.

Mom needed a grab rail to help her transfer safely from her wheelchair to her easy chair. I could not find a commercially available solution that was sufficient.

A little plasma cutting, grinding, sawing, welding and I had transformed the orphaned roll-bar into a Handicap Transfer Assist Rail...
I built a wooden base that bolted to the bottom of the chair. The transfer rail then bolted to that base. In order to tip the rail over, it would require lifting and flipping the chair. Since the chair is a pretty heavy motorized unit, that would be unlikely to happen.

Very nice Randy. Color looks good also. Like to see more of the GT 40 also again

That front suspension is interesting looking
