What a sweet ride!

Do you know where I could find steps (don't know what they're called... the stirrups under the doors to step up into the cab) like those?

My truck has diamond plate "boards" that run from the front wheel fender to just behind the door and I'd love to replace them with something like what you have.

Those are the Carr hoop steps, got them on "one of those online auction sites" for $50. I like them because they are kind of period correct for the truck. One note to add: they say to mount them even with the front edge of the seat but I think they should have actually gone even further forward. Check carefully before you install to ensure they are comfortable to use.

beaudog that is a sweet looking 79. Although I'm kinda partial to the Explorer package trucks. I just love those MY specific and color specific stripes. Gotta love the 1970's.
