i have a 97 f-350 xl 2wheel it has a 460 and an auto, the door sticker states the truck was made 11/97, does that not make it a 98? I was also wondering if that body style carried over into the 98 year before they ruined a beautiful truck? its titled as a 97.

I just bought a 1995 E250 van 300-6 with c-6. A loud groaning noise develops when at speeds above 45 mph. It vibrates through the body sheetmetal. It appears to be coming from the rear. I've had the bent drive shaft straightened and rebalanced, replaced both u joints and changed out all tires one by one looking for broken cords. The noise continues. Any clues as to its source or cure. Thanks in advance LEFTY

Right, Ford made the 97 Heavy duty series from 8/96-12/97 and brought the superduties out 3/98

There was no 1998 F-250, other than the F-250 that was the same exact truck as the 97+ F150s.
