Wow that's actually very creative! How did you make the bottom fit to the carburetor?

Looks like 11A-1130 .. 1941 Ford Passenger Car Ford script Hubcap.

I had one of those goofy cheap Edelbrock foam air filters with the triangle looking screen that I melted with a ferocious backfire one time. I used a couple pieces of the hardware and piece of sheet metal cut in a circle. I was amazed the hubcap was a perfect fit for the filter. I know you all like pictures so here you go...lol.

Haha no problem at all! I decided I'm just going to buy a whole new air cleaner anyway since the one I have now is not going to work.
