I had one of those goofy cheap Edelbrock foam air filters with the triangle looking screen that I melted with a ferocious backfire one time. I used a couple pieces of the hardware and piece of sheet metal cut in a circle. I was amazed the hubcap was a perfect fit for the filter. I know you all like pictures so here you go...lol.
