Um- slipped w/ a screwdriver installing some Cerwin-Vega 6.5's...
Blew a Cerwin Vega 10, 2 pairs of Pioneer 12's, and melted a Boston Acoustic 6.53 Crossover. Not that bad for as many years as I've been installing and trying to blow stuff up

I've never damaged a piece of audio equipment. I am always very cautious and have everything planned out beforehand. When mounting a sub once, I came close, though. I was using a power screwdriver to mount my sub. Screwdriver slipped...but I pulled back quick enough. From that point on, I've always used regular screwdrivers to mount woof/subwoofers. I actually wrap my hand around the screwdriver near the bottom/flange. If somehow/someway the screwdriver were to slip, it would go through my hand, not the sub/woof...hasn't been a problem..............
