Switching from 3.55 w/ elec locker to 3.73

I just drive with traffic Bruce. My wife always says that I drive exactly the same as I do without the RV behind me which I guess is not the norm... It's actually funny to count how many morons come flying up on my right because they can't see in front of me and think something this big can't possibly be going as fast as possible. Then they have to slam on their brakes when they see the cars right in front of me and don't have a place to cut in and cut me off... The only time I get over is if the right lane is empty or the left lane is doing well over 80 and folks want to pass.

I remember passing a guy with a Duramax pulling an Arctic Cat trailer that was already going pretty fast. We passed him going faster mainly because he was pulling kitty's, driving a dirtymax, and we could. People always give me crap about how fast I drive. It's funny how I maintain my equipment all the time and it's in working order or I don't leave until it is ready. Most guys that give me crap don't even check tire pressure or that their brakes work, let alone are in good shape.

I don't even use the tow/haul feature. It's not needed now.

To the OP -
I have 3.55s with 35" mud tires and 4.5" lift. I drag 15-16k behind me like it's not there.
5er weighs in around 14-15k and it's easy to forget it's back there.
Once you pull with the new truck you'll be so happy the gear change will no longer matter.
I still would use this to your benefit while negotiating with the seller. Never hurts to ask for a better deal since it's not exactly what you want!

Nice...
I've spent a lot of time on freeways this spring in 70 mph zones trying to get around RVs doing 55 - 60 mph. Most RVs can do the limit or near the limit but those who can't can cause some difficult and dangerous driving for others. I already know that the people doing way under the limit think that they are being really safe, I just don't agree with them. Seen way too many crazy things going on around these extra safe drivers.

I doubt it will be enforced much but it's a step in the right direction either way.
I understand not everyone does 15 over but some people shouldn't be allowed to drive!! Bias opion here as I'm one of the people going 15 over....
