What size lift do I have (if I have one)?
Bought a 2005 FX4 F250 recently and looking at shocks online, but not sure what size to order. Can anyone eyeball if my truck has been lifted or not? I'm thinking there isn't any lift, but would like to confirm before ordering. Thanks!
FYI been reading reviews and although the Rancho9000 is liked on these forums, I think I'll go with the Bilstein 5100 because they're supposed to last longer. I live in salty PA, so don't know how long the adjuster on the 9000's would last. Going to clear coat them a few times for extra protection.

The bed support sills are nearly nonexistent. I purchased some POR15 marine clean, metal prep and paint + steel tubing. One of these weekends hopefully slow down future rust.
Thanks for looking.

My '04 was bought in NJ in late 2004. I plowed snow with it for two whole seasons, then moved down to Arkansas in 2007. Sold it a few weeks ago with 180k on the clock and the undercarriage looked WAY better than that.
They really need to find a different way to treat the roads. That's really crazy.
I agree that it looks stock.

I'm looking forward to this project Waiting on a quote for some steel tubing to replace the bed support sills, then going to lift the bed off, por15 marine clean, por15 metal prep and por15 paint the entire undercarriage.
