OKAY, WhiteKnight, you started this. So I nominate WhiteKnight for setting the get together up. Maybe we should start a whole new thread titled "Spring/Summer 2004 Oklahoma FTE Bash"??.......
(I'll volunteer to bring some worthwhile door prizes/giveaways.)
we will need so room lots of room for all the truck + us and lots of BBQ s to cook. but it would be fun get like a little offroad place for us 4x4 to play at too.
This ain't gonna be the work of one person.
I'm looking forward to meeting every last one
of y'all, and if there are any musicians out there,
step up, be counted. Or if y'all are brave enuf for
karaoke this could be really gruesome... but fun.
Just keep posting your cities. Depending on how
things work out logistically ($5 word that means
"where you're at") we could have smaller get-to-
gethers to start with and work up to one big hairy
monster bash, like a Fordapalooza...
This way we can figure out who's good at what- who
makes killer BBQ, and other munchies, who can organize
things, who's good at getting local companies and suppliers
to join in, and so on. Me? I totally rock at cleanup- the
thing everybody hates to do afterward, and I'm good at writing stuff- can ya tell so far? I'm game. And it sounds like y'all
are too. Posting stuff is good, but would anybody be willing
to participate in a contact list? This way we could get stuff
done a lot quicker, and all information gathered is for the
purpose of organizing these events, and benefiting our
own unique community. Just give it some thought.
There's no reason why this can't be a whole buncha fun for
everyone involved, and our families. We're past the hard part.
We all have something in common.
