F-6 Gas peddle drags against cab
my 1948 F-6 has what I believe the original accelerator pieces but it drags against the cab? I was wondering that if I use the new parts I purchased, will that be what is needed to center the accelerator linkage? The transmission cover will be all that is needed? I've seen some metal parts for the accelerator but have no idea if those are needed. I've included pics. Thanx in advance.
Also I'm not sure how the accelerator and spring pieces even connect to the linkage.

I found this posting that I think explains the linkage to the pedal. But my linkage is scraping the cab floor? And it's positioned correctly I believe.
