good afternoon everyone, just figured id let you all know that these headers fit real nice on my 65 f250 360 cruise o matic 2wd, they are hooker competition part# 6903-1 , drivers side went on in about ten minutes nothing in the way, passenger side i had to jack up the motor and take one bolt out of the motor mount and turn it out of the way. the starter and header have to be installed together.
On the passenges side did you have any issues with the transmission dipstick tube? In a couple of the pictures it looks like the open header is pointing straight at the tube, but maybe it's an illusion.
It's tight fore sure, the pics are a little deceiving there's enought room to get a pipe around the dipstick tube. I'll keep you posted, it goes to the muffler shop on Monday. I was going to get a exhaust builder kit from speedway and do it myself ( I know I could get around it by welding the angles) I hope they can keep the bends tight enough to do it. It won't be mandrell bent not that it matters, she's not a race truck. The shop it's going to has been doing only exhaust for something like 30 years. Usually when I have someone else do something for me it has to be redone cause someone didn't REALY care, but the shop owner is even a ford truck guy! So, fingers crossed
