Bilstien Stabilizers???

Well when i got my 5100 shocks the other day and opened up there nice german boxes i fell in love! The bare metal look truly turned me on .

My question, i have a dual steering stablilizer setup, does bilstien or anyone make stabilizers with the same finish? That would diffinatly be a nice touch. thanks

Yes, there is a Bilstein stabalizer available for a dual setup.
Overkill has them on his F-250:

MrRottnDog has them as well. And I want to say that HIROLLN has them but I'm not sure.

Hope this helps.

I don't know the part numbers........Overkill would though.....you could get in touch with him being as he sells them.

As far as cost I believe that they are around $95 each shock.........because they are currently a reworked shock (I want to say that they are originally a Tacoma shock that gets revalved). I was told that once Bilstein starts actually producing them with the valving that is used to run in a dual stabalizer setup that the price should drop to $75 each........but I'm not sure when that will happen.
I could be wrong........Overkill or Donahoe are the ones that will know all about them.

Hope this helps.

More info!!! I have the dual Fabtech with the shocks setup one in front of the other. I love the Bilstein duals with one on each side.

Must spend $$$ now. Have desire for new parts. Urge is strong.

snakebit,

I think that the Edge dual stabalizer setup (like the one in the pic of Overkill's F-250) goes for around $400-450. It's nice since it doesn't hang below the tie rod like other dual setups that reduce the amount of ground clearance.

Hope this helps.

Bilstien Stabilizers???

Here is the text from an email that I sent to Donahoe:

The new Donahoe Racing Dual Steering Stabilizer Bracket Kit is constructed from high quality 1018 steel that is laser cut for exact tolerances. The brackets are black powder coated for an original equipment look. The unique “S” link center tie rod bracket prevents bracketry from slipping under hard use. The Bracket Kit with specifically valved, dual opposed nitrogen charged Bilstein Stabilizer Shocks which helps steering return to center and guarantees no pulling at the wheel. The Donahoe Racing Dual Steering Stabilizer increases vehicle control under all driving conditions by reducing steering shimmy and bumpsteer feel. The kit allows for more ground clearance than stock and lessens road feel at the wheel caused by bigger tires.

The bracket kit (3-2170) retails for $235.00. The Bilstein shocks will run you $95.00 each. Please let me know what city you are in and I can forward you the name of a distributor. Thanks
