Yeah,I got 'em.I got the ones that you posted above as a reference and I got all of the numbers off my transmission and engine that I could find. When he first told me the price,I said,"You're crazy!",and I gave him the part numbers that you listed above. He looked it up and said that the same thing that he looked up before. So I made him check it 2 more times to make sure. That was it.Anyone know of a Ford dealer on the web that might sell them before I have to make that journey?
Send me all of the part numbers that you have and let me see if I can get you a better price and get them shipped to you. Be sure to include your transmission numbers and any other number that you think may help me to get your parts for you. I think you are being scammed.
Send this info to wthomas@horizonview.net and I'll see what I can do...if you want me to that is.

Thanks man.I don't have them on me right now..They're in the glovebox of the Ranger.I'm gonna call that other dealer tomorrow and see what they say.If I don't hear what I wanna hear,I'll let you know.I'd really appreciate that.If you ever need anything..Let me know!
Here's those transmission numbers. There's this white sticker with a bar code on the driver's side of the transmission that had these numbers in the exact order that I'll be typing them below:

A502437
Remember..My truck is:
1992 Ford Ranger XLT
2.3L I4/5 Speed Manual Transmission
Short Cab/Short Bed
2 Wheel Drive
That's it.I didn't look on the passenger's side.If the need arises,I will.I called that other Ford dealer today and they said that they couldn't get the part.I know that ya'll said to watch out for that, but I can't do too much over the phone lol.If anyone else knows how I can get them,I'd be greatly appreciative.I haven't called the local pick n' pull's yet. That's the next thing on my list unless someone else has any suggestions.
You can allways just buy a hurst shifter for it, that will give you tighter shifts than the stocker and looks awesome. A good place to buy 302 conversion parts are james duff and advanced adapters. Advanced adapters will also allow you to dump the M5OD in favor of the mustang T-5. However the M5OD will handle the stock 5.0 if it's still in good working order. Welcome to the forum!!!!
