milky coolant
I have a 2003 f250 xlt super duty with the 5.4 v8. The other day as I'm pulling into my driveway smoke starts pouring out of the engine compartment I quickly shut the truck off and investigate. I noticed a heater core hose had blown and there was a milky fluid over everything. I have dealt with blown head gaskets and intake manifold gaskets on other trucks before so i was instantly concerned and checked all my fluids, everything was fine except the coolant. What was left of the coolant was milky, the trans and eng oil were perfectly fine. Being a new Ford owner I am not to sure of exactly what it could be I've heard it could be the oil cooler or the trans cooler and due to the high pressure it will not mix on the other side just the coolant side any help is greatly appreciated.
