So, in the new build and price Ford now has up, it shows the ESOF switch with 4A selection on the **** long with 2H, 4H, and 4L. Some speculated that the web designer just used an F150 picture as they indeed have a 4A option but the SD will likely not. However, after some digging, it would appear the pic is indeed from a SD. If you look at the brake controller, it's right under the ESOF switch on the build and price picture.
However, on the 150, the trailer brake controller is much lower and would be out of the frame in that picture. Below, I have a pic of the trailer brake controller on the 150 then the SD. You can see the SD has it's controller higher just like in the build and price picture. I think we have an Easter egg shown on Ford's site here...
150:
Super Duty:
It says on the info that it's included in the Lariat, king ranch and platinum.
Pre-productions trucks also don't have GVWR stickers. Do you think production units will? As to the order guides, they don't list every change. ESOF is listed and the picture shows ESOF. Albeit with on other position. I'm not saying I'm sure but I am saying that the selector in the picture with the 4A position is in a Super Duty dash. Ford has saved goodies until the last minute before for those of you who haven't watched a major redesign in the past. Is that the case? I have no idea but I would like it if it was.
For what the renditions are worth the interior image from the BP site of my Lariat 350 appears to only show 3 positions for the ESOF switch. A 4wd traction control does not seem like a desirable feature since the traction control just shuts down the engine when traction is lost. Having TC on our last two rear wheel drive cars did keep the back end in line but the the TC also made it easy to get stuck in snow if it wasn't turned off in time to prevent glazing over of the tire track and not allowing the tread to chew through deeper snow. I prefer to be in full control of the power to the wheels.

Auto 4x4 is not traction control. It simply engages 4x4 as needed. Don't worry, even if these trucks come equipped with 4A, you'll still have full manual control.
I am leaning towards this logic too. Makes perfect sense that they would have it in the order guide if it was true.
There's a lot of wishful thinking going on. Having said that, from everything we know is true, it's going to be an awesome truck!
The wish list that seems to based on nothing appears to include the 10-speed, 4-Auto, 5.8 DOHC V8, and 5.0 V8 EcoBoost. Maybe some of these things will come later on, but I don't think the pre-release material is going to conflict with reality. Perhaps on some minor details, but we are talking about some major marketing bullet points here.

Of your "wish list" the only actual possibility is 4A. Everything else had been confirmed not to be in the initial release. Even the 4A is unconfirmed.
I really don't want the other things, personally. But that's just me.
I'm not sure how what I said that seems like wishful thinking, I am saying they will not have it because it would have been in the order guide. But I know it is Sunday late afternoon and people are slamming some beers. 😄

lol not you, I was agreeing with the general point that some are living in hope that Ford has a few surprises that would contradict the info we already have. I just gave some examples of things people have kept insisting would happen. I don't keep track of usernames and where they said it. It could all be coming from one very hopeful individual
Just had a chat session with Ford on the Build site and he indicates the picture must be in error and will have it changed. The Super Duty does not come with Auto 4wd, according to his paperwork.
