need help id~ing a transmission
Guy says he got it when he bought an engine. He doesn't know much about it other then it was rebuilt 4 years ago. He's not sure what model it is and I've been trying to decode this but I'm not sure. It would be for my 1990 f150 302 2wd

Much easier to look at the transmission fluid pan. Number of bolts and general shape help tremendously:
The F5xxx part number in the photo suggests a 1995 part number, could be a 4R70W if from another F150 with a 5L engine.
