Dang Darin, I just watched that again and it almost looked like 48 to me! It's kinda hard to see though. Those are great numbers! Bet that's fun!
It was at least 46, maybe a little more. PM sent. I'm not trying to brag at all, I'm just proving what I've always said it boosted. I'm sure there are some who thought there is no way stage ones could boost that high. I totally understand that thought, I just wanted to show I wasn't exaggerating. I've had 2 different boost gauges in, 2 different brands, and both read the same.
nope.

i still have my 65 falcoon Glenn. maybe someday i will finish putting it back together.
Ya Tom, I was pretty proud of that car. Bought it at a garage sale (my wife found it) and fixed it all up. First car I ever painted, the wimbledon white paint was very forgiving. Put a 302 five speed in it and I was happy. Then some guy knocked at my door and wanted to buy it. Said it was his first car, took his daughter home from the hospital in it I just told him I wouldn't sell for under 15K and he said deal. I should have said 25K, LOL Then he takes a set of keys out of pocket and said let me show you this. Got in the car and started it!!! The original keys and to top that off he showed me the original title. My first thought was, oh boy, he is going to try and take it saying I had a bad title. A friend told me later that I could have charged him with years and years of storage and all the improvements I had done. He just came back the next day with cash and drove away.

I know im a little bit late, but arent you guys worried about blowing up the motor with those high boost numbers? When I drive the excursion, i try to keep the boost under 15lbs. Granted that my excursion is a 6.0, and we all know what they are known for...
Not really. Boost really isn't the enemy.....exhaust back pressure is. Cal Thompson proved that the 7.3 block can take a hell of a beating till he split it into 3 pieces at 100psi
Wow... that engine was destoryed... looks like a stock duramax after 200k miles. I guess the 6.0 got me all paranoid about high boost causing headgasket failure

A 6.0l is way more than capable of handling that amount of boost. Let her spool.
Mike, those are some of the coolest pictures I've ever seen...
