Missing **** on the dash?

What would go here on my 68 bump? It's my cargo lamp (hooked up for a pushbutton start) there's a blank then my cig port. I was thinking maybe emergency flasher but that's in my glove box?? Then ignition and wiper is on the other side of the column

Missing **** on the dash? Emergency Flashers. To the right, cig port as you stated. To the left, who knows. I can only speculate as to why someone drilled another hole in the dash and moved EFs to the glove box. Seems like a lot of work.

ND, was part of the Camper Special wiring (67/69) to move the EF to the dash position? I ask because I have seen plenty that were wired like that and it looked factory.

Every 1967/69 I've seen (many when new) had the EF inside the glove box.

Manual Choke

My guess is a manual choke. I had one on my 65 on the right side.

My '69 Ranger emergency flasher switch is in the glove box. My dad's old '68 Ranger also had the emergency flasher switch in the glove box. But, like you, I've also seen them mounted under the dash and it didn't look like someone (other than the factory) had put it there.
