the front tires on my truck stick out farther the the rear ones. i don't think this is normal, can anyone help me on that. since there is no offset on the rims i assume the rear has been changed. there are no tags or marks to identify the rear end. from axle flange to axle flange is about 56 inches. if i need to replace the rear to correct the problem, does anyone know what a good gear ratio would be. i want good power but still be able to cruise on the hiway at a respectable rpm.

I belive the stance your truck has is correct, the front tracks wider than the rear on all these trucks. I'm assuming your truck is a F100 from it having a 302 but you might want to put that somewhere.

Hi mike, yeah that's the stance of these year trucks. The offsets on the mag wheels on mine make up for it though, now the rear is wider than the front. Good excuse to look for some new custom wheels!
