Morning guys, figured I better check in. Been an interesting last several days both physically and emotionally.
Been busy as heck. Got out Friday late afternoon from rehab shuck was nice. Saturday went with my wife to the garage so a four wheel brake job could be done on her Edge. It had a slider pin seize up on the left front that caused premature wear, but all of them were getting low. Got a hair cut, home for visiting nurse, then off to by a new recliner for myself. My old one was broken and needed to be replaced.
Sunday, layed low and was having a tough time adjusting to not being able to do much for myself. Feeling better mentally now. Went to dinner at Olive Garden.
Monday, layed low and had the visiting nurse.
Yesterday I was to have two appointments, one my primary doc, the other my vascular doc which I had to cancel because of my pup Buddy having a medical emergency. Took him to the vet and ended up having to send him on his journey to the Bridge. He turned 13 on St. Party's Day so he had a long life for a basset hound.
Waiting for my PT to stop by this morning and then off to see my orthopedic doctor this afternoon. Need to see him about getting some orthopedic shoes with custom inserts to help reduce the pressure on my heels to help reduce the possibility of getting these pressure sores again. Plus my primary doc needs input from my ortho and vascular docs before he will clear me to go back to work, which is tenatively July 5.
Time to get my butt going.
