Exhaust

Hey! New member and I have been trying to figure out what to do with my truck in terms of performance. We'll start with long tube headers and true dual exhaust. Whats the pro and cons about it?

Yours is not an unusual question--what is the best bang for the buck?

What you do will depend on budget, which engine, and emissions laws and inspections you have in your area. Usually cat-back systems add a couple ponies and either a little or a lot of noise. Cold air intakes add a little noise and lighten your wallet. Tuner or "chip" mods can yield some increases, ymmv with those but they are discussed in that forum or the chip and tuner forum:
