Dual Tanks

My 96 F150 has dual tanks and I have a couple a questions.
First, does the truck switch over automaticly if one tank runs dry to the other?
Also, my truck didn't come with an owners manual and I can't find a gas light anywhere. Do F150s of this generation have low gas lights?

Dual Tanks

Nope, it won't automatically switch, it will stall out. Also, no i dont believe there is a low gas light, there isnt one on my 95
