Possible buy ?
I realize this is not the correct forum for this but feel like I have some history with guys on this forum. Anyways recently noticed a 2000 4x4 ranger but it had the 3.0 rather than the 4.0 - is this one pretty wimpy when you step on the gas ? Nice shape seems like decent price but this along with 175 K might not be the most ideal choice. I am working on a small GM truck to hopefully drive when I take the F150 off the road for the proper refurbishment .... so what say the group ?

Well somebody beat me to it by 15 or 20 minutes so not going to be mine. Apparently I did not need another one in the driveway, will continue working on the one in the garage. I guess this is now for future reference .... heads are off on that one, now cleaning and disassembly, inspection. Good news preliminarily, broken valve spring - did not seem to contact piston - or anything visible yet ....
