1986 300 inline duraspark conversion

So since the electronic feedback carter on this 300 is crap i decided to swap it out for a fully mechanical carb. However that requires converting the distributor to a vacuum adv. and rewiring since the computer was no longer needed and i couldnt get ahold of a harness soon enough. So i have attempted to perform a duraspark conversion and well... it will crank and crank but it seems like its not getting any spark. The only thing i can think of is if the coil isnt firing right. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You need to tell us more. For instance, did you replace the ignition module on the fender? If so, with what? How did you wire it up, meaning what wires to what?

I did replace the ignition module but it was more of an install since the computer had control of the ignition. Module to distributor was easy, just color match and ground, then green wire to neg. on ignition coil.
The red from the module i spliced to the wire on the Hot- run side of the ig. switch and white wire from the module to the start pole on the starter relay.
The main problem im having is making sure the wires i used were correct since so many that went to the computer were left over from the ig. Switch and because the previous owner wasnt the brightest. So im trying to figure out exactly what wires should be connected to the ignition coil from ig.switch or any others i dont know about

First, the wiring diagrams are here: Start & Ignition - ???Gary's Garagemahal. Did you wire it as shown? And you still have power to the coil?

Second, did you replace the module with one with a blue grommet?

As far as i can see on that diagram, yes i wired it as follows but yes i did buy the one with the blue grommet. It does look like there are alot more connectors on the module in the diagram. Mine only had two pigtails

Yes, only two connectors - C321 and 323. Three wires each.
