Suspension advice.

I finally got my other Bullnose back, she has a 351 modified in her now, not sure what she had before. while being a hell of a lot better looking than my daily driver, boy oh boy does she have problems. she has a I want to say 4 inch suspension lift and looks great, But she is dangerous to drive. it goes all over the road and seems to turn better to the left than it does to the right. My dad seems to think that the pitman arm is the problem as it looks factory and should have been replaced with a drop arm, Im new to lift kits and the like but I tend to agree with him Im sure it also needs new balljoints and tie rod ends. any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Complete 4 inch lifts do come with dropped pitman arms. They also come with dropped radius arms.

Look at everything that is attached to the frame from the front suspension. Any piece going from the suspension to the frame has to be modified/dropped. That would be the brackets in the middle that the two front axles pivot on, the pitman arm(because the steering box is mounted to the frame) and the radius arm brackets that mount the radius arms.

That drops everything and keeps it somewhat in the factory relationship to each other. If you have a sway bar front and rear, they will have to be eliminated or modified also. The brake lines usually need to be longer or the brackets modified/lowered, and the shocks need to be longer.

Jack up the front end and push/pull on the wheels while someone watches underneath for movement in the joints. You'll identify the items needing to be replaced, but I'd recommend doing them all at once or you'll be doing it again soon.

Thanks! yeah I did that it needs Balljoints and tie rod ends, I did manage to do a sub par alignment so it turns equally in both directions, its far from perfect but better than it was. will update soon, thanks
