I have about 3 weeks before my ordered Limited gets dropped at the dealer. Not sure on weather I will be happy with the truck after stepping out of my 2014 Loaded xlt lariat crew cab f350 diesel 30,000 miles. Not using the big fancy f350 for what it should be nowadays. Most of the use of the current big truck is a daily driver not more than around town. I do like the idea when she does need to tow it's so stable going down the road. Hauls my trailers like nothing and no flex when a TT unit goes by.
I know the costs are much higher for the 6.7l than a gas job f150. That said they are two totally different animals. I guess the cost is not a worry, but to not use the big truck for what it's designed for is somewhat of a waste.
I wanted to know is this extra fancy limited the answer? I guess I can Find out soon. My trailers do not weigh more than 6-7-k loaded and I guess the 150 should with the 3.5 EB do this with ease. I do not pull a trailer anymore than 4-5 times per year and never more than 100-200 miles for distance.
You'll like it. The 3.5 EB has diesel like torque. The ride will be much better. It will pull your trailers so well that it will amaze you. If you got the 36 gallon tank, you will love the range.
Coming from a Super Duty myself, you'll miss the ride height and the hip room. You'll get over those quickly. Actually, I plan to level mine soon, so my ride height will be close to that of the old F250.
Don't sweat it so much. It's hard to go from a Super Duty, thinking that you're taking a step down. But you're not, it's a completely different truck, it's still a Ford and it's a very capable truck. It's not like you're buying a Ridgeline...
I have used Tough Country front lifts in the past they seem to make good products. I hate the rake on all these trucks I think they look way better with the leveling kits added.
What brand do you guys think work the best on these new models? what is the general lift size? 2"-2 1/2"?
I would like to place an order for the kit now but I am sure it will be the wrong one if not measured before hand.
I'd go with a 1.5" Autospring. You're going to want to leave a little rake for towing or you'll be lighting up the sky if you tow at night. If you decide to go with the perfectly level look, you may want to invest in some airbags to keep the rear from squatting when towing, but air them down for a better ride when not towing.
I downsized from a 2008 F-450 to my '15 3.5L ecoboost, and I am super happy with the decision. I also no longer needed the 450, and therefore I no longer needed the rear duals ($496 x 6 = $2976 replacement tires only), nor the extra cost of diesel, nor the ridiculously expensive oil changes and oil and fuel filters, nor the crappy mileage, nor the stiff ride, nor the more expensive plates, nor the subscription to Diesel Power.

The rake on these trucks are significant. Mine, with the Max Tow Pkg and a 6.5' bed is 3" higher in the back. I intend to go with a 2 1/2" level for that reason. I might have to lift the rear another inch afterward, we'll see.
I've yet to see a Limited. I know it'll have 22" wheels with relatively low profile tires. That is what keeps the payload down. I supect the rear end is lower on the Limiteds as well. Similar to the old Harley Davidson editions. A Limited may require a leveling kit in front a a larger block in the back. 22" tires in larger diameters and higher payload are available too.

I thank you all for the info on this. I can see the airbag set up will be a must on this truck. What systems are working the best for this application?
Like I said I will not be doing lots of towing with this but prolly enough so the rear bags will be the best option when I do.
Will not be carrying much payload it should be driven as a car for the most part, I hope....👍
