Ok so I was out running around with the wife and the dogs. And I started to hear a funny noise when I would get on the skinny pedal ( sounded like the fan kicking on really high) so I checked the scangauge and I was getting code p0198. I know that means the oil is to hot. However my scanner is telling me my eot is at 188 ish. Now this morning I was dealing with another issue under the hood and I noticed a little coolant on top of the egr cooler ( I need to investigate that more maybe just on o ring on the intake) so am I potentially looking at a new oil cooler? (Replaced it a year and a half ago,with a doorman I know it's crap but it's all I could afford)
its going to KILL the IPR that alone is same price range as an oil cooler
the dorman gasket is going to breakdown and plug it and feed gasket pieces to the injectors
P0198 is High EOT as you know
Need to check all temp senders against each other after cold soak of 12hr
EOT-ECT-TFT- should be close to same as one another
the best thing you could do here is keep all this info in one thread we may see a connection on things you wouldn't suspect plus everyone can see in one spot
