I was on way to work yesterday morning, I turned a corner at the bottom of hill, truck started to act like it was out of fuel. Restarted once, towed home.
I was at about 1/8 tank, haven't had it that low before. So had my boss bring 10 glns. No luck.
Since it was low, thought maybe fuel filter, replaced it, reprimed, had fuel in bowl at this point.
Next thought, I had been cranking it a lot, low voltage right. Hooked cables to bosses Dodge diesel, still no luck.
Tach is responding, about 200 rpm charged batteries, on 50amp boost. No start.
I already know I'm going to get ****, but tried a small shot of ether and tried to run.
Was initially looking at cps, but just pulled new fuel filter and bowl is empty. Pump is running, but I think it is timing out, because if I cycle key it doesn't get any quicker.
Next thing I am going to try is pressurizing tank from my compressor.
Any ideas what this could be?
