Additional Server To Help With Load
First, I want to thank those who have been patient with us during the last month and the server busy messages. Please be advised its not due to excessive server load, but rather an occasional spike when thread views are updated (I've written code to reduce/eliminate this but it will take a few days to "tune" it properly).
Ford Truck Enthusiasts' third server arrived via UPS this morning and I'll be installing Linux on it and testing it over the next week or so. In about 2-3 weeks it will go into production. It will effectively double (at least) FTE's processing capacity and will hold us for quite some time.

Ken feels that FTE is Not about Charity and will not feel comfortable ask for donations.
The best way for users to show their appreciation toward FTE is to Join ClubFTE or Purchase merchandise from Motorhaven.com.
The t-shirts are of high quality with Multi-coloured design.

Just browse throguh the FTE clothing or FTE merchandising area.

I agree... I'm a card carrying (member #00006) of FTE/clubfte and have at least 6 t-shirts, a hat, a service manual and.....
I just broke my favorite FTE big old honkin coffee mug and don't see the replacements offered anymore...
but .... would he accept an unsolicited donation ???
