We bought a couple, one for $175 and one for $275, both in mint condition. Shipping for both across the country was about $57 by UPS; just have it wrapped in several layers of cardboard. It's really easy to pack.
You can find them on these forums frequently. Another source is a local truck wrecking yard. If we brought tools and did the work, we bought a couple for about $50 apiece. Also check eBay, Craigslist, and so on. Ford still sells the piece but for about $1200.
