NEW SPEEDO

I learned that i have a bad speedo gauge and need to replace it on my 95 f-150 with tach. I was wondering if any of you could tell me where i can get one. I went to my mechanic a few minutes ago and asked and he said that theres a place he sends them out to because ford doesnt sell them anymore. He said that this place fixes whatever is wrong with my speedo and if it cant be fixed, replaces it. He told me anywhere between 120-300 bucks. I am just curious if i could get a new one anywhere because i'd rather have a new one then a fixed one so the problem won't happen again. Thanks

NEW SPEEDO

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 23-Jan-02 AT 07:53 PM (EST)]Here is a website that has them; they sell OEM parts for all manufactures.
I looked up the price; I think it was like $350
Hope this helps!

NEW SPEEDO

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 24-Jan-02 AT 10:10 PM (EST)]What about picking one up at a salvage yard. I got a complete dash cluster assembly with the tach for a 94 for $100. I installed it in my tachless 93 but had to watch out for the wiring differences betwen the years. The speedometer is the same from 92-97 in the regular style (not the new body style) trucks with or without the tach. Good luck!
