Enclosed Trailer Floor Replacement

Our church has an enclosed trailer and the flooring at the back corners has rotted out. It appears wall boards sit on top of floor boards. Any ever replaced flooring in an enclosed trailer? Is there any special trick to it? Anyone have any tips?

Mine's done the same way the wall sheathing sits on top of the floor which is made of OSB and not holding up very well.

Try using a skilsaw with the blade set just below the height of the floor so you don't ruin the blade going over the metal frame. Cut out as much of the floor as you can and then pry out what's left along the edges

If that's too much work you can always lay your new floor on top of the old one and just hit the rotted sections of the old floor with some killz paint.

I have to redo my floor too maybe this year. When I do it'll be pressure treated ply covered with linoleum tiles and spray foam insulation in between the framing members below.

Cheap & fast would be laying steel diamond plate down .But since I dont know or can see what your working with it's kinda hard to elaborate. I do floors & rear deck plates in work when the need arises .

That's not a bad idea. It doesn't look too bad of a job. The walls are screwed to the trailer studs and the seems just have thin stapled over them. It looks like I could just pry that off, unscrew the wall boards, remove them and floor should just lift up???

I took the wall paneling out to put in foam board insulation. It wasn't that big a job. Label each sheet so you can put them back exactly as they were and don't have to drill new holes in the wall studs.
