05 F150 climate control problem

Can someone point me in the right direction. 2005 F150 FX4 doing something new. If I have the climate control selector **** set to off, the blower motor will randomly come on then go off. Am I looking at a blower motor resistor issue?

It's the manual climate control.

It is not a blower resistor issue.

I could be a wiring fault related to the blower relay, but my suspicion would focus on the EMTC module first. That relay is supposed to be de-energized when the mode switch is in the OFF position and is energized only when the system has been switched to any other position.

Only other thing that would make sense is for there to be fubar'ed wiring, either from a four or two legged critter. You'll need to do a visual.
