For sale, a 1984 Ford F-250 XL 6.9L Diesel 4x4, C6 Automatic Transmission, BW1345 transfer case. Radio works, any of the HVAC components don't... but it has the window vents, so who needs AC?? Tilt steering wheel with all the bells and whistles.

The truck sat for about 10 years but was brought back to life in 2014/2015. Two new batteries, new starter, new relays, new headlights work, brake lights work, brakes lines and master cylinder were replaced, new injectors, new glow plug relay. Truck fires right up and runs strong, shifts easily into four wheel drive. Only work that really needs to be done is to replace tie rods, which I am nearly certain I have all the hardware for, and it will need new tires. Might need to get a different shift actuator (I think that's the right name for it) to get the correct shift points. I think a green one is installed, and it needs black. And obviously, body rust/paint needs to be addressed .

Known issues: the steering box, which I had replaced with an rebuilt one from the store, and it leaks. I don't know if it's a hose or a seal. The original was probably fine . Truck was aligned before making a 50 mile trip from DC, drove well. Engine temp light comes on, but I have never actually seen it overheat, I think it may just be the sensor. Speedo jumps but works, not sure the issue with that.

Would make a great project truck, this truck has been in the family for 30 years and my dad treated it really well, always got service it needed before sitting. I have probably put over $2000 in this truck (sigh) but don't have the time or space to deal with it any further.
