Thank you! Got the front fuel tank in this morning, and finished the fuel lines. Also just got done installing the bottom half of the downpipe, and full 4" exhaust under the truck. Time to start putting the front end back together.
Maybe you could find the right driveshaft instead of lengthening the old one. Might be better off that way. You're making lots of progress, after work too. Wish I had that much time for my trucks.
Looks like it will be running and driving pretty quick! What else you doing to it after its up and running?
Hoping to have it running within the next 5 days. I don't know that I'll do much else to it after it's together. Already did the wicked wheel, TS chip, downpipe, full exhaust, and rebuilt the transmission. Should be a pretty good runner.
You do! It's not mine, just borrowed it from my best friend to push my truck up the driveway to work on it. It's a bad **** though! 3/4 ton springs front/rear. Sterling 10.25" rear axle, Dana 60 solid front axle, 4.10's, and a 460 swap out of a 95 F250. It's essentially a big block F350 4x4 Bronco. Lol.
Also, made some more progress on the truck today. Got the front end back together, just need to put the hood on. Picked up the lengthened driveshaft. Fits like a glove! Also test fired the truck. Fired right up! Just need to finish wiring in the boost gauge, and pyrometer, mount the hood, and build the intercooler piping.
Built the intercooler piping yesterday. Dont mind the ugly welds. I'm still fairly new to welding. Going to do the piping wrinkle black soon, but I want to put some miles on it. Drove it a short distance this morning. What a great feeling! Lol.
Thanks man! I have a feeling it's one of the rubber hoses from the mechanical fuel pump in the valley to the fuel bowl. I'm going to pull the fuel bowl off in the morning, and replace those 2 hoses.
Replaced all the hoses in the engine valley for the lift pump, fuel bowl, and regulator. Also cleaned the FPR screen while I was in there. Thing was nasty!
