ball joint questions

ball joint questions
In looking at the autozone page for new ball joints, there are a few options. I have two questions. One of the questions is dependant on the type of axel that is on the truck. How can I tell if I have a Dana 28 or a Dana 35? My other question is The upper asks if it is threaded on top. When I look at the ball joint, it looks like there is just a little cap, and I don't see any threads. I assume that this means that it isn't threaded. Dumb question, but is that the correct assumtion? THanks in advance for your feedback.

i tried that before and i found the best bet (provided u have the money ) is to buy both and return the wrong wones....i bought the wrong ones first off and the mechanic had to order diff parts and then the new parts the "o ring " at the base of the new ball jont broke...autozone refunded me 4 hours worth of labor cause they screwed up.
