Electric short
Had computer and instrument cluster replaced but randomly won't start. Turns over just fine. Shops have no idea and want $100/hr for an undetermined amount of time. Desperately need help

Just curious, but why was the ECM and IC replaced?
Is the Check Engine Light on?
While cranking over and won't start, does the Check Engine Light go out?
Have you checked for fuel pressure when it won't start?
Do you know the make/model/year/engine of the vehicle?
