Help with 56 headlight trim ring

Help with 56 headlight trim ring
Hello All,
I'm hoping someone may be able to help, I purchased my truck 3-1/2 years ago in pieces and things have been sketchy with regards to final assembly.
I just purchased head lights and have been able to figure out everything there, I have rebuilt the light buckets etc.
The problem I'm having is there seems to be no holes or clips of any sort to accept the screws at the top and bottom of the trim ring, I think its different on the 56 from the earlier 53-55 models?
