the local FD lost a house 4 blocks away last night. fully involved when the call went in at 11:15 pm.
they just cleared up about 10 minutes ago.
i was amazed to see one of the neighbor town aerial ladder come down my street. i have no idea how the driver was able to negotiate the 90 degree turn up the block, or the turn down the street to get out of here.
it is hard enough to make either one in my tri-axle, and the aerial is a good 15 foot longer.

You have alligator arms, and can only turn the wheel 2" at a time.

starting today, 90% of all passenger vehicles on the road in New Jersey became inspection exempt.
from the NJMVC:
Beginning May 1, 2016, the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission is changing the inspection requirements for certain vehicles. Due to the cessation of tailpipe emission testing, the following passenger vehicles now will be exempted from inspection:
starting today, 90% of all passenger vehicles on the road in New Jersey became inspection exempt.

- Gasoline powered vehicles registered passenger, model year 1995 & older with a GVWR 8,500 pounds or less.
- Gasoline powered vehicles registered passenger, model year 2007 & older with a GVWR 8,501 to 14,000 pounds.
- Gasoline powered vehicles registered passenger, model year 2013 & older with a GVWR 14,001 pounds or more.
- 1 through 9
- 12 (not utilized to transport passengers as in the manner of a bus)

i lucked out in the fact that everything i own is now inspection exempt.
and Charlie???
bite me. at least with my "alligator arms" i can still put them out to keep my upper body from smashing into the ground when i fall.
